Join us on Friday, October 19 for UIC's Fourth Annual Chemical Engineering Industry Day, where you can pass on some industry knowledge an dadvice to current ChemE students at UIC. We will hold round-table discussions where you can discuss your industry, how you landed your position, and other career path options for engineers.
Students will engage in conversations with you at your table for 10-15 minute discussions, then students will rotate tables for additional 10-15 minute conversations (think "speed networking").
This is an informal and informational event (i.e. not a career fair). Students will know that you are not there to recruit them, but some may still bring their resume in case their networking efforts lead to a serious discussion about employment with your company. ChemE students eagerly look forward to this event every year. We hope you can join us!
