Outstanding Achievement Award
This award is presented to alumni who, through their achievement in their field of engineering, have significantly enhanced the industry and who inspire and help to instill a sense of pride among the alumni, students, faculty and staff of UIC. The Awards and Selection Committee will select six recipients of the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Nominees for the Outstanding Achievement Award must:
- Hold a degree from the UIC College of Engineering
- Be living at the time of nomination
- Demonstrate a high level of accomplishment in his/her field
Those not eligible:
- Previous recipients
- Current members of the UI Board of Trustees; the UIC Alumni Association Board of Directors; the Awards Selection Committee; and relatives of the outlined groups
Please explain, in detail, how your candidate fulfills the award criteria. A candidate may be nominated for more than one award category. The selection committee reserves the right to grant an award in a category other than the one in which the candidate has been nominated.
