Legacy Alumni Achievement Award
This award is presented to an alumnus/a who has graduated more than 45 years from their year of nomination and who has made a lasting and meritorious contribution to their field of engineering, their community, and/or the UIC College of Engineering. The Awards and Selection Committee will select one recipient.
Nominees for the Legacy Alumni Achievement Award must:
- graduated 45 years or more prior to their nomination
- Be living at the time of nomination
- Demonstrate a high level of accomplishment in his/her field
Those not eligible:
- Previous recipients
- Current members of the UI Board of Trustees; the UIC Alumni Association Board of Directors; the Awards Selection Committee; and relatives of the outlined groups
Please explain, in detail, how your candidate fulfills the award criteria. A candidate may be nominated for more than one award category. The selection committee reserves the right to grant an award in a category other than the one in which the candidate has been nominated.
