Champion’s Award

This award is presented to an individual or company that demonstrates a strong commitment to the College of Engineering and its mission through their volunteerism, philanthropy, and advocacy efforts. Nominees of the Alumni Champion's Award are not required to be an alumnus/a of the College of Engineering but are leaders who show significant impact on the community and the College through their work.

Nominees for the Champion's Award must:

Embrace a culture of service and philanthropy to the College of Engineering
Be living at the time of nomination

Those not eligible:

Previous recipients
Current members of the UI Board of Trustees; the UIC Alumni Association Board of Directors; the Awards Selection Committee; and relatives of the outlined groups
