About
Chuck Ventura is President of Ventura Solutions LLC, an engineering consulting, staffing, and training company for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He is also CEO of the medical device firm founded by biomedical engineers and medical doctors called Hemotek Medical Inc., which creates innovative healthcare solutions for unmet clinical needs, including its flagship product: the market’s safest and most cost effective solution to Venous Needle Dislodgment—one of a patient’s biggest risk during hemodialysis. Chuck has extensive product development experience in the medical device industry. He is a seasoned medical device leader with successful experience in R&D, project management, and manufacturing support. He also has startup experience in business development and investment management. Chuck is the former Manager of Systems Engineering for Pfizer’s (Legacy Hospira) R&D department, in which he successfully created and led the companies first combination product systems engineering team. In addition, Chuck has gained extensive medical device product development experience at Baxter Healthcare. He received his BS in bioengineering with a minor in electrical engineering from UIC and earned his ME degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. As a UIC alumnus, Chuck is passionate about placing UIC graduates into contract, direct hire, and consulting positions directly after graduation.
