About

Dr. Brandon Hamilton is the current UIC EAA VP of Activities and past Board Member at Large. His undergraduate education is a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration, a Master of Information Systems Management, and a Master of Business Administration. His doctoral dissertation studied the resource, structural and organizational phenomena of business growth. He was a Professor in the College of Business and Management at DeVry University. Additionally, he teaches systems analysis in the College of Engineering and Information Sciences. Brandon consults in management, marketing, business information systems, telecommunications, health care, construction, aerospace, public utilities, defense, insurance, education and real estate industries encompassing the application of the tools of operations research.

Dr. Hamilton’s research on leadership and innovative management has appeared in many academic and practitioner journals. Devoted to helping students achieve, Brandon Hamilton has served as a faculty advisor to Alpha Sigma Lambda and Sigma Beta Delta national honor societies and Delta Mu Delta international honor society. This Lifetime UIC Alumni is listed in Community Leaders of America, Who’s Who in California, World Biographical Hall of Fame and International Who’s Who of Information Technology. He enjoys cycling and swimming.
